My/Mo
Website
Website for the confectionary company that invented mochi ice cream.
I was brought in to extend the My/Mo brand and redesign their website. Together, we realized the brand’s ambition of being a playful snack that’s perfect anytime.
My/Mo sells ice cream balls wrapped in pillowy sweet rice dough. The company was founded in 2015 as a Los Angeles-based confectionary company that is credited with the invention of mochi ice cream. My/Mo is generally found in the frozen food aisles of grocery stores.
The brand came to us with the ambition of being a playful snack that’s perfect anytime. To realize this, the website’s homepage was unique based on the time and day that a user visited the site. To pull this off, we needed content to change almost hourly. Dozens of images were shot for the homepage's background and we wrote over 100 headlines – that's right, over 100 headlines.
With playful animations, graphics and copy that reinforced the mouthwatering appeal of the ice cream balls, I extended a fun ice cream brand and created user experience that communicated the joy of discovery.

On the website, visitors could take a quiz to discover which incredible flavor is right for them, find out where to buy My/Mo and even look inside a mochi ice cream ball.
